Social Media & Community Specialist

At ProcedureFlow, our aim was to focus on growing our organic social media following, and to also grow our online Slack community channel.

By creating and implementing an organic social media strategy, I focused on the platform that mattered to us most which was LinkedIn, and was able to find success by combining an evangelization approach that prioritized engagement with users that interacted with our posts.

During my time with ProcedureFlow, there were some creative demands in my role that drew on my design, animation, and video editing talents.  Although this was not an official part of the job description, I happily obliged to deliver on these creative projects to help support my creative team with meeting deadlines.

My complete responsibilities included the following:

– Design & implement social media strategy to align with business goals

– Formulate & execute on the Slack community strategy to engage with our existing users.

– Create, edit, post and share engaging content daily

– Lead community management activities, i.e. communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely and proper manner

– Collaborate with PR & Brand department team members, as well as marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency

– Manage social media accounts’ design (e.g. social media covers profile pictures and layouts)

– Execute a social listening strategy to parse intelligence from conversations being had online

– Support the creative department with animations, video editing, and graphic design projects.

Software Used in this Role:

This is one of the creative projects that I was tasked to execute with to publish on social media as an Instagram reel.

Working alongside my colleagues remotely, we were able to come together to achieve a video that helps to connect our audience with the people behind the processes in a fun, enthusiastic video.
